It's GLENN MILLER'S BIRTHDAY – and we're celebrating – BIG!

We begin the celebrations with wine on arrival and then settle in for the incredible live 18 piece Big Band plus singers on our stage - THE BIG BAND THEORY - who will set the tempo and get your toes tapping. Perhaps you'll even be up and swinging!

Following the live band, THE GLENN MILLER STORY will screen with James Stewart as Glenn Miller, the biography of the one of the greatest bandleader's ever known, Glenn Miller, from his humble beginnings to his death December 1944 over the English Channel. . Further, the lovely June Allyson as his wife shows a wonderful chemistry with James Stewart, providing the support that enabled this great musician to thrive. Together with the stunning Louis Armstrong, Frances Langford, Ben Pollack, Gene Krupa, Barney Bigard, James Young, Marty Napoleon, Arvell Shaw, Cozy Cole, Babe Russin and others personalities, they make a great tribute to a magnificent American musician and composer.

The film has loads of his music and arrangements. His music, a careful mixture of swing, jazz, and improvisation, flows throughout this film - Moonlight Serenade, String of Pearls, Pennsylvania 6-5000, Little Brown Jug, In the Mood and Chattanooga Choo Choo, Tuxedo Junction and many, many more.

This film is a celebration of this innovative musician and generous man and the wonderful music he made that brought Swing to the world – it's funny, inspiring and in the end, very touching.
