THE RICHEST WOMAN IN THE WORLD - FRENCH FF 2026
Director: Thierry Klifa,
Cast: Laurent Lafitte, André Marcon, Marina Foïs, Raphaël Personnaz, Mathieu Demy, Isabelle Huppert,
Genre: Comedy | Rating:
| Runtime: 123 Minutes
Isabelle Huppert leads this sharp, darkly comic tale inspired by one of France’s most astonishing real-life scandals — the billionaire heiress to the L’Oréal fortune and doyenne of Parisian society meets Pierre-Alain Fantin (Laurent Lafitte, The Count of Monte Cristo), a vivacious dandy, and the two quickly become inseparable.
Their friendship surprises, amuses and increasingly unsettles those around them — a relationship where influence grows and boundaries begin to blur. As questions surface and loyalties shift, the consequences become impossible to ignore.
Stylish, witty and deliciously entertaining, this is a story of power, privilege and persuasion.
With twists too good to spoil, this wildly entertaining film became a major box-office hit in France for good reason.
