Dreams of retirement – finally here. Karin wants to travel the world with her husband Harold, but they do not. Retired physician Gerhard’s dog dies. Hippie Philippa is living in a rundown trailer in a trailer park. This isn’t how they imagined their retirement at all. Instead of enjoying their free time they feel weary, useless and…old!

In their search for a new perspective, Philippa arranges for them to become hired grandparents, each with a family with children to care for. But instead of harmony & gratitude, they are soon confronted with overprotective parents, hyperactive children & their own demons and dreams.

A charming comedy that connects old with young, discovering it is never too late to start a new chapter in life.
‘Very amusing.’ ‘Comedy with a big heart connection.’
